2025-26 Player Assessment Page

Why is there an assessment to the Booster Club?

The simple answer is that RAHS is only able to cover a portion of the costs for the boys hockey program. The school pays for all of our ice time, busses, head coach and two assistant coaches, and game jerseys every few years. This leaves many costs uncovered. The Booster Club exists to raise additional money for the program and these funds go to expand the coaching staff, supplies for the team, and other improvements to the program. This year specifically, Booster Club funds are paying for new gloves for skater, the travel and housing costs for the Rochester weekend, post game food, special events such as skate with the Raiders, Senior Night, and Mentor appreciation night. The end of year banquet is also part of these costs.

We do our best to raise funds from the local business community and local organizations and we also ask that families contribute to the booster club to help cover these costs. This year's assessment is $300 per player,.
